It has a lot less to do with ‘gender dysphoria’ than ‘being cool’ and ‘special’ to people craving attention. Used to be just drama queens, now “LOOK AT ME! I’M TRANSGENDER!”..............

This is not a sickness, it is a choice. Their gender identity can be easily changed, their biological sex assignment came from God and it is not reversible. So the only thing here that can be changed is your attitude about what you are and you and your parents failure to live up to it. You can’t change your sex, only mutilate the body and be someone you aren’t physically. And if you cared, you would understand you then fail at both sexes, the one you are and the one you play at.

Not just normal; but, the "cool" thing to be. Young kids, teens, simply do not have the life experience to understand the consequences of doing this. I firmly believe that no one should be allowed to "transition" until they are an adult; and, by adult, I mean in their twenties.
I also think that the amount of press this subject gets makes kids think that it is the new, cool thing and being kids, they want to do it too. Again, if they had some time to grow into adulthood naturally, we would have a lot less of this nonsense.
I live in the middle of rural Florida - Trump country. Each of my three grandchildren have a gender dysphoria friend/classmate. Two are high school girls who want to be boys. One will run out of class in tears if someone calls her by her ‘dead’ (female) name. The third, a guy in his early 20’s who I always thought might be gay, has now decided he is female.
He, and at least one of the girls, have been in counselling for many years. More then once I’ve wondered if the counselors are promoting these ideas to mentally fragile children.
They don’t have gender dysphoria...They have naive suggestability. It’s easy to manipulate young and insecure people. That’s why Bernie is doing so well.
Gender dysphoria is another demonic plot to undermine a society. Target an age group where there is confusion and awkwardness associated with a lot of physical, emotional and psychological change happening, and tell them it’s because they are the wrong gender. And just to sweeten the deal, glamorize it.
