I still say Chris Christie would have been the best AG from the start. Trump needed a pal in that spot, everyone else has been a snake so far.

Please stop posting that nonsense about Chris Christie. I was his biggest fan when he was governor of New Jersey, but that was the limit of my tolerance for him.

Trump NEVER wanted Christie as his AG. Christie is an egomaniac and Bush loyalist who burned his bridges with Trump in late October 2016 when he bailed out on Trump in the midst of the "Access Hollywood" debacle.

There's a reason why Chris Christie has basically disappeared from the face of the earth (politically).

Again, that is the reason to have the guy as AG

Access Hollywood was a media hit job

Trump and his team made a decision on a media hit job

That makes no sense

The dust settled quick and Christie would have taken the position

The reason Christie isn’t AG is because Kushner wouldn’t allow it, Family first in the Trump administration and sadly I think this was the biggest mistake Trump ever made was allowing sleepy sessions to be AG, when he could have had a tornado like Christie. And we all agree, the DOJ needs a Tornado

Christie and the Bushes weren’t the best of friends either, anyone remotely high up in the Republican party has ties to the Bushes, Jeez.
