Tokyo: Japan's health minister on Sunday urged the public to avoid crowds and "non-essential gatherings", including notoriously packed commuter trains, to prevent the new coronavirus from spreading in the country.
Katsunobu Kato warned the nation was "entering a new phase" in the outbreak of the virus, which has infected nearly 60 people in Japan so far.

WOW! Very tough to do in Japan.We have ALL seen how the Japanese commuters are JAMMED onto their trains.
There are even men, in white gloves of course, whose job is to PUSH and JAM even more.

Hmmm. Looks like the Japanese have lost containment. This is bad. Bad for Japan and bad for the rest of us as every time someone loses containment it makes it more likely everyone else will.
Let’s hope this is an abundance of caution rather than face-saving understatement.
