They had to option to table it indefinitely, they didn’t do that. It was specifically carried over to the 2021 session with a letter to the VA Crime Commission for further study. This battle will have to be fought again next year.

The reason for tabling it is BS - for a crime commission “study.” About 100 of 120 counties in Virginia have voted to become Second Amendment sanctuaries. The Dem legislators can see the writing on the wall. Other than Northern Virginia legislators [hardcore liberal counties], the rural ones are going to spend the next year taking the temperature of the voters. Do you really think they will vote this out of committee next year when it is an election year? They have their sorry-ass jobs to worry about.
