Relax. The Virginia state elections are in 2021. There is a lot of blowback from the last election. The Dems have tried gun-control, LGBTQ, the ERA and the National Popular Vote laws. A lot of people in Virginia are extremely upset. This is not what they voted for in 2019. I am expecting that the GOP will retake the legislature in 2021. And, they will repeal a lot of these laws.

Of course it was, whether they fully understood or not.
Sadly, my experience has been that the horrid laws are almost never repealed when the R’s retake the legislature.
There is almost always some excuse for their failure, usually blamed on the D’s blocking them in some manner, or “Well, it’s a settled law now, repeal would be confusing and disruptive”.
They’ve done more than that. Per American Thinker, the new dems in Virginia have passed dozens of bills in just a few months that took Cali a decade to push through. It’s changing fast in this state.
