The more Republicans and their Republican support staff we can send to Washington, the bigger the shift in Northern Virginia politics to the Right. Congressmen and their support staff, like living in Northern Virginia more than DC or Maryland.

Really? Those folks are just a drop in the bucket in the population of Northern Virginia. Besides most of the top aides that come to DC with their congressman/senator retain their own home state registration for obvious reasons.

The population of Northern Virginia is over 3 million, as well as, over one third of the state's vote. Trump lost Northern Virginia by 63-37 points, a huuge 26 point margin.

Since I mix with these people everyday, my guess is the Trump hatred has increased since 2016 since so many here are federal workers or work for federal contractors.
