The video is less than 90 seconds long, but it's an interesting look into how homeschooling is providing an outlet for those 'trapped' in their flats.

In all honesty, the reporting is a bit of a negative take on HSing. For example, the girl being interviewed seemed to lament not having to worry about how 'I'm going to dress this or that way' the next day in school. The teachers also seemed somewhat perplexed.

Hopefully, some parents and children will discover during this crisis, that the freedom they experienced not having the state stand in loco parentis is a good thing in the end and worth the challenges of Homeschooling.

School is important but eating is essential. This pandemic is creating serious food shortages in China especially in urban areas. The government will soon be openly using the army to transport and distribute food and keep order.

I think it would be wise for all schools and colleges to make sure they have the infrastructure in place and training ready to go to provide home schooling.
