President Trump was furious that 14 Americans infected with the coronavirus returned to the United States without his permission rather than remain in quarantine overseas, according to a new report.
Trump had been briefed that the healthy U.S. passengers who spent weeks quarantined aboard the Diamond Princess cruise ship in Japan would be allowed to fly home on two chartered planes -- while those who were sick or infected would stay in Japan to prevent the spread of the deadly virus.
The president became "furious" with senior advisers after learning the 14 Americans who tested positive had been put on a plane with healthy passengers, according to The Washington Post. One official told the paper that the failure to inform Trump of the decision in advance of the plane's departure was a “big operational mistake.”
Trump complained that bringing home the infected Americans could damage the adminstratration's response to the global health outbreak.
While the Americans evacuated from the ship were on buses on the tarmac in Tokyo, U.S. officials got the results back that 14 had tested positive for COVID-19 but had not yet shown symptoms. Officials made the decision to have them fly home anyway, but “isolated” from the other passengers on the plane.
“These individuals were moved in the most expeditious and safe manner to a specialized containment area on the evacuation aircraft to isolate them in accordance with standard protocol,” the State Department and Department of Health and Human Services said in a joint statement Monday.
“After consultation with HHS officials … the State Department made the decision to allow the 14 individuals, who were in isolation, separated from other passengers, and continued to be asymptomatic, to remain on the aircraft to complete the evacuation process.”

Here’s an excerpt from their All News category to a report on the hysteria:
“The largest concern was the lack of information, despite the fact that the patients were expected to arrive in a matter of days, said Costa Mesa fire chief Dan Stefano.”
“There has not been an information flow, and in a situation like that, for us, it creates the greatest concern,” he said.”
In other words, they are Chicken Littles scampering about screaming the sky is falling.
Further, we don’t know for certain how many are truly confirmed and how many were screened positive.
What we do know is Deep State enemies are grinning to see us in a panic over the hysteria they love to foist on Americans.
And you can take it to the bank they will land the hysteria in POTUS’s lap.
We should wait for the President to make a public statement before climbing onboard “they’re lying to us!” merry-go-round.
One of the 14 on that return flight is now on TV and telling about how her and her husband lied to get onboard that flight. He is now sick and soon will know if she has the virus too.
This is criminal act of terrorism and should be as such.

They’re trying to move 70 CONFIRMED cases.
Official total is 35.
One of those numbers is true.
But not both.
Since those 70 probably came from the Diamond Princess, they are still being counted under that segment.
I had the same question yesterday, and that’s the only explanation I could come up with.
It’s my perception, so I can’t point you to anything.

“Up to”...setting-up for up to 70....not 70 arriving.
That’s why I’m trying to suggest that these folks are from the D.P., and have not been declared to be U.S. specific yet.
AS another poster said, perhaps they don’t have 70, but are setting up for 70 if they get more confirmed cases.
None of us knows for sure.
It’ll make sense at some point.

Half the trouble is these folks in all areas of government have numerous meetings. They meet about the last meeting. They meet about the next one. Then it starts again. Plus, they’re on an endless round of “reaching out” via emails or texts. Lots of chatter. Little decisiveness. Rare action.
