Congratulations; Quote of the Week. He set out to prove the Flat Earth Theory, wound up proving Darwin’s Theory.

“. This particular launch was only supposed to take Hughes 5,000 feet in the air, according to Discovery.”
Just buying an airline ticket would have gotten him to 30,000 feet or more.

An obvious hit ordered by the Round Earther cabal in order to keep their conspiracy going.

Assuming he made it to the 5000ft altitude (1524m):
v^2 = 2*(9.81m/s^2)*1524m
v = 173m/s or 387mph.
He’s dead, Jim...

"I just want people to question everything." Since the video did not show anyone climbing into this POS, I ponder the question if a paid-up life insurance policy and a new identity were created beforehand.

All aircraft have a lens built into the windows so the Earth looks round. It is part of the conspiracy. /sExactly. There is no depth below which these Round Earth fiends will stoop to. Although this argument is one that has me wondering if they may be right:

Retards usually kill themselves so it was good to see he didn’t take anyone else with him.

“”The Flat Earth thing is like everything else to me,” Hughes told CBS News in October 2018. “I just want people to question everything. Question what your congressman is doing, your city council. Question what really happened during the Civil War. What happened during 9/11.””
Answers:
Congressman are robbing us blind while becoming multimillionare theives

So having need of energy and propulsion to move and leave the ground, and then having concluded the flat Earth does somehow have gravity, now that their dude ran back into it, how many more centuries will it take before they catch on! 😂

Well, I guess his little experiment proved one thing: At least SOME of these “Flat-Earthers” are serious about it.
Prior to this, I could never tell for certain if any of them actually believed that nonsense, or if they were just part of a giant joke; another 4Chan meme gone viral.
