ROSELAWN, Ohio New Prospect Baptist Church is home to one of the largest black congregations in Cincinnati. On any weekend there you'll find weddings, funerals, and three Sunday services.
Not exactly a place you think you'd find 179 women firing .22-caliber handguns in the church basement.
But that's exactly what happened on Feb. 8, when the church opened its doors to what state officials believe is one of the largest women-only, concealed carry gun certification classes held in the state of Ohio.

Oh, trust me they know! Maybe enough of them finally got fed up.
A lot better than nothing.
You have fallen into a fallacy and you are propagating it.
Why is .25 ok? Center fire? So they don’t have to learn to clear a fail? See what I mean?
What they are doing is a huge step in the right direction, and they will surely be advised to move up when they can.
OHIO PING!
Please let me know if you want on or off the Ohio Ping list.

Black guns matter! Good job.
At our church we had an auction and one of the items was a HAND GUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We have plain clothes armed guards at our church now. You won’t notice them unless you pull a gun out and start shooting at us...
BANG! U DEAD
A .22 is a great caliber to learn with and the ammo is cheap.
That and ear protection.
Back in the day.....many schools had gun classes.
Shot .22's in the gym or auditorium....
But more holes in it?
It’s a good place to start...good for practice.
The .22 round is a cheap round as you say....but when learning it's important..to just learn.
Love Shockey
I always get a kick out of when Barney Fife would fire his revolver indoors and Andy, or whoever else was there, didn’t hardly even flinch.
And why?
Praise the Lord and Pass the Ammunition!
I guess what they did was called “raising the roof”.
Badabing, BadaBOOMBOOMBOOM!
I have never met a person yet who would volunteer to let me shoot an apple off his head with a .22.
