I've seen various numbers from 14 up to 38. All we do know is this thing is D@mned infectious and is capable of lingering in an unsuspecting host for weeks and weeks.
I think we may see a shutdown of all schools in the US, and perhaps other containment procedures.
1-24 days, even longer. Some people have it and never show symptoms.
Also, I think it depends on how much virus you inhale. If you are around a lot of people who have it, you will get a much larger dose. Also some other commenter mentioned that Francis only has one lung, so it might cause him distress doubly fast.
