Great news from the Washington Examiner:
President Trump is opening 15 urban campaign field offices in an aggressive bid to improve his performance with black voters, who for decades have been an overwhelmingly Democratic constituency.
Sleek and situated in retail shopping districts to generate foot traffic, this unique collection of regional community centers is a critical component of the Trump campaigns multimillion-dollar strategy to double in 2020 the 8% support the president received from black voters nearly four years ago.
Where will these community centers be?
Five offices are slated for Florida: Tallahassee, Jacksonville, Orlando, Tampa, and Miami. In North Carolina, branches are opening in Charlotte, Raleigh, and Greensboro. Others will be located in Atlanta, Detroit, Columbus, Cleveland, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, and Milwaukee.
President Trump has good rapport with African-Americans, who in general are not enthused about the current crop of Democratic candidates. Jared Kushner makes a fundamental point:
Youre never going to get the votes you dont ask for, said Jared Kushner, Trumps son-in-law and close adviser. Last time, it was, What the hell do you have to lose? Now, were going to show them what theyve gained from President Trump and what more they can gain if they get four more years.
The Examiner quotes Trump campaign sources to the effect that the president is already polling around 20% among blacks.
In my opinion, the most important single thing the Trump campaign can do between now and November is to campaign aggressively for black votes.

Maybe with black males, but as soon as you add in the black females, that number craters. Trump quite likely won't exceed 5% with black females against any DEM candidate at this point.
That’s racist!
I think this is smart.
I’m all for minority outreach, but Trump needs to maximize the white working-class vote or he loses... sounds like he’s listening to corrupt RINO consultants in his campaign.
Candace Owens should be front and center on this issue. Actually, she should be front and center as part of his administration.
I would speculate one big reason she isn’t is that she would overshadow Ivanka.
I’m for all of the above.
Some prefer the sure thing of a smaller government check to the risk of a larger earned paycheck. It is that simple.
Barf alert, sounds like your opinion not facts
Sounds like a concern troll
Have you seen his rallies?
Sounds to me like he’s doing the right thing. There’s no reason to concede the black vote. There’s also no reason that winning the block vote and winning the white working-class vote are mutually exclusive.
Trump got 4% of the black female vote in 2016. How is the belief that he won’t exceed 5% in 2020 trolling? Ever listen to black females talk about politics? How about during news to TV talks shows, when three of six liberal panelists on a CNN or MSNBC show are black females?
Never hurts to ask for votes....
I would expect Trump to improve on his 16 numbers, but I don’t expect him to be outside of historical GOP norms. 10-12%.
Best any GOP has done in modern era was Reagan in 80 who got 14%... and then not surprisingly saw his support drop down to single digits in the 84 re-election.
Blacks tend to vote GOP when they are angry at the Dems... economy and personal situation rarely seem to move their votes from the plantation.
Sadly.
Trump will get at least 12% of the black vote. You can take it to the bank
Keep telling yourself that. My point still remains. Any gains with the black voters will almost certainly have to come from black males. There is no way in hell black females are going to flock to Trump in this election.
Since you seem to be unaware on many levels, Trump has said he wants to win the popular vote since it will prevent the dems from saying he is not legitimate. Trump has a crack team assembled, but you must not be paying attention. His team is not made up of any RINOs. I could go on, but educate yourself.
She sould replace Megan McCain on the View...that would be worth watching
