Compromise is unlikely. Sen. Sanders remains committed to a proposal that will eliminate thousands of jobs, reduce consumer choice and cost so much he won’t even give an estimate.

To the smallest minority, the individual, smile. To the greatest collective, the family, smile. The other collective constructs do not have a good track record. Some are dysfunctional. Some are evil. Be aware. Enjoy life. It zooms by.

I also think we could lose the House. And if we do, there would be absolutely no way to stop [Trump].

I suspect that if the Dems lose the house the next two years will be the most productive in American History.

Some lessons can be learned from the Bible.

Jesus came to divide.

Jesus came to unite.

How is that possible? Can’t be right. Jesus came to divide and unite on the same issue. I will letter the reader do their own thinking on what the issue is.

Trump follows this same model. He divides and unites on the issue of patriotisms.

The RATS have so many division points, it doesn’t work.

Nursery rhymes are probably not politically correct but Humpty Dumpty does have some application here.

Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall,
Humpty Dumpty had a great fall,
All the king’s horses and all the king’s men,
couldn’t put Humpty together again.

Rats are so broken apart from the great fall, can anyone put it back together?

http://www.teachthesoul.com/2011/05/life-lessons-from-humpty-dumpty/

from the above site, there is this comment from a gentlemen with a thinking cap:

Years ago, as a commentary on our times, I wrote a second stanza to the Humpty Dumpty rhyme:

“Humpty Dumpty, after his fall,
Called in his lawyers and said ‘Sue ’em all!’
They sued the king’s horses and all the king’s men
For failing to put him together again.”

Their voters have a Hobson’s choice between socialism (which will wreck the economy) and a return to overregulation and taxation which will grind the nation’s economic engine to a halt.

Americans who still care about things like the nation’s economic engine (let alone basic morality) cannot vote for this collectivist party, anyway. If they truly despise Trump based on his Twitter feed or the MSM’s mischaracterization of him, they have to vote Libertarian...or better yet, stay home.

I keep hearing this, but I find it hard to consider that the average democratic party voter, or however they juice the system, has not historically voted their intelligence, but their party.

As the flock that originally started this burlesque show drops out, and sends their support to one of the two candidates they think can beat Trump, not do something for the people, it is a perfect showcase of party unity and not public service. Yet the voters buy into it and think it means the failed candidate was with them all along.

But it all falls under one question:

If the party has/had no message and no make able platform, then why did Hilary the beast win the popular vote in 2016?

People don’t vote issues, they vote party tickets, take what they get, and then are told to like it, and are stupid enough to agree.

If Trump really wants to beat the machine again, this time he is going to have to play dirty. And I hate that type of game but he has displayed what he is doing right, and it is still a question of trying to overcome lefty lies. So if it is the only way to continue the successes of the country, and not fall back into third world mode, again, like under Obama or a charlatan society like under Clinton, bring out the gloves, and turn it when you hit. They will have to bleed enough to impress people they won’t win, period. Make it ugly.

“ traditional party liberals like Matt Bennett, who worked as Deputy Assistant to the President for Intergovernmental Affairs for President Clinton, say, “It’s this incredible sense that we’re hurtling to the abyss. I also think we could lose the House. And if we do, there would be absolutely no way to stop [Trump]. Today is the most depressed I’ve ever been in politics.””

That’s a real shame, Matt. But that’s what happens when the members of your party are weirder than a Star Wars bar scene.

Embrace the panic.

There has never been any chance for Democrats to win 2020.

Total Economic meltdown, or some other black swan event of that magnitude were the only external events that might given them a chance.

The only other chance they have is if Trump would somehow be viewed by his supporters as no longer putting America First.... by him doing something that makes them believe that... and that’s not going to happen.

Doesn’t matter who the Dem nominee eventually is... they have a high water mark of around 10 states and DC this fall... and looking more and more like they may not even get close to that.
