Somewhere between locking up the population and being in total denial would be best. Like wearing masks, social distancing, cancelling large events, letting people work from home. You know, simple, not excessively disruptive things that will slow it down.

If masks don't work, why are doctor's desperate to get them? N95 or higher masks, obviously work. Trust your eyes, not the MSM. Sheesh, when did conservatives turn off their brains around here.

Yes, it will probably be worse than Shenzhen/Shanghai/Beijing, but not as bad as Wuhan where they followed your advice and covered it up and did nothing. Our best case is middle of the road, worst case is do nothing pandemic.

Do you know "counterproductive" means something different than "doesn't work"? Obviously masks are effective and work, which is why doctors want and need them. Whether you think it is counterproductive to allow the public to protect themselves is something like the gun control debate, a political question. Kinda sounds like mask control, doesn't it?

You should probably call the CDC and let them know their PPE guidelines are wrong and masks don't work. Also, contact these study authors who apparently got it wrong when they proved masks work.

As for the mask working, they don’t protect the wearer but prevent him from breathing or coughing directly into the air around him.

For the wearer, an incoming virus penetrates right through and also assures the nostrils, mustache, lips & all skin beneath the mask of an infected wearer is saturated with the virus.
