5000 iu in one gelcap. Sunshine I don’t measure but try to be outside barearm and hatless for an hour or more. Mostly I work at night now so I take the D3 pretty much daily through the summer, too. My first time with the D3 was when I was sick 3 days into a flu that laid everyone else out for 3 weeks or more. The formula for when you are already sick is 900 iu per pound of body weight in one dose. I took it in the morning and by evening I was all clear and feeling fine. I carried a bottle of it to my daughter who was also sick. She took it before bed and woke up clear and fine. Wife similar the next year. Since then many friends ditto.
