Nolte: Left’s Pet Issues Like Mass Transit, Reusable Bags Prove Deadly During Coronavirus Crisis
Breitbart ^ | 3/16/20 | John Nolte

Posted on 03/17/2020 10:32:46 AM PDT by LibWhacker

With some experts predicting, at a minimum, anywhere from 480,000 to 1.6 million American deaths from the coronavirus over the next three to 18 months, how smart does urban living, mass transit, open borders, reusable straws, reusable grocery bags, reusable water bottles, gun restrictions, over-regulated housing, using the Centers for Disease Control to fight gun violence, and outsourcing to China look now?

Hey, we don’t know what’s going to happen with the coronavirus. What we do know, though, is that between last Sunday and this Sunday, things went from Zero to Crazy in one week: We shut down our economy, store shelves are empty or emptying, the president’s on television every day, and there’s serious talk of a national quarantine.

We are also learning, at a fairly rapid pace, how a pandemic operates, how a virus spreads, and how vulnerable we are to such things, and just how so many leftist ideas have made us even more vulnerable.

Just for a moment, close your eyes, and picture the establishment media’s and left’s (but I repeat myself) idea of The Virtuous American…

Add open borders and hindering U.S. manufacturing to the list.

Many customers at Trader Joe’s have reusable cloth grocery bags.

When I explained the problem to the clerk, he tried to mitigate the issue, “People can wash them.” I explained, “No one does. He returns it in his trunk as is for next time.”

I wanted to point out that he handles all these filthy bags, some which could be contaminated with COVID-19. Now *my* items which he touched to place in the single use paper bag are now contaminated.

People need to sanitize recently purchased items. A lot of potentially disease carrying hands have touch them...

See how this gets out of hand in unsuspecting ways?

BTW. Was just at the grocery store to get cucumbers, and sugar, and vinegar to make bread and butter cucumbers.

No TP, no butter, as well as a couple other things. BUT, there was cream. So, I bought cream and told the check out gal that no problem, I will make my own butter. There was a young couple-about mid 20 or 30s behind me and they looked at me like..WTF?

The check out gal told me that it was gonna be three to five days to restock since the truckers are now starting to call off a little bit.

Here we go..

I’ve taken to wearing gloves, which I clean with sanitizing wipes. And upon returning to vehicle I use a hand sanitizer. When I get home I wash my hands as well.

Break out the flame thrower to lightly sear my haul. Outside of course, I’m not stupid. We are good. /sarc

China crashed its economy with its frantic and massive reaction to the WuHanFlu and we cheered then we shut down our own economy. We will lose much worse than China loses because China is already a Communist society. We will come out of this socialist and heading Left. It is no longer unthinkable that the Democrats will sweep the elections in November. When they do they will follow the Trump precedent and declare a National Emergency for Climate Change. Then where are we? Trump has taken wartime powers and the Democrats will build on that.

There’s not much death, but the point is good.

It’s the left that want us to live together like insects in hives and pack together like sardines for transportation.

I don’t worry about it. It is not profitable to worry. I don’t mingle but never did much. I have been virus free for 14 years and expect to stay that way no matter who I bump into. I will keep working even if/when the shipyard where I work shuts down for the duration. I am a security guard and such will be required in greater numbers once the management and employees are all gone. Daughter who works for the shipyard has already got a weekend job as a security guard that will immediately become full time++ when/if the yard closes.

Not to mention liberal homeless policies (crapville, USA), a hatred of paper products, and putting felons in mass storage. But luckily, the store shelves are still filled with vegan items!

I don’t either. I have worked out a procedure which eliminates worry.

The stupid fool bags is exactly what I was going to post about on our neighbor site. Someone posted about stores stocking but not one mention of our liberal area not bringing in reuse bags.

Mark Steyn on Rush Limbaugh today was describing the typical liberal woman with the 2003 Charlie Rose PBS tote bag.
