She would certainly know about corruption, having participated in it firsthand.

So Hillary can’t connect with real people. You just have to watch a master at it like Governor Rick Perry and you realize that you aren’t political material. It’s a different thing.

Amen!

We need to work hard to turn out every single Trump voter we can.

Growing the camp is fine. But only if they vote!

"Arrogance and Complacency, I don’t see that Ever Happening with President Trump!"

I get a lot of information from Free Republic, and "thought" that Biden couldn't string two thoughts together based on compilations of his worst moments.

I watched the last debate and saw him hang in there just fine. The progressives will ignore his weaknesses (their own complacency).

Can FReepers become complacent when post after post is promoting Trump and downplaying down the enemy?

We must work to turn out the vote!

Everything that was assumed 5 weeks ago is now out the window.Nobody can know who'll be helped,or hurt (politically),by what's happened recently and what will happen in the next 4-6 months.

Although DJT's victory was pretty much a done deal 5 weeks ago that CAN NO LONGER BE ASSUMED.

Just think Winston Churchill in 1945.

Winston Churchill in 1945 said that Labour would soon have its own Gestapo. He was right about the idea, but wrong about “soon”. It took time. Not that that has anything to do with the topic of this thread.

Agree 100 percent. In fact I think victory now is in great peril. If people lose half their wealth or more they are far less likely to support the President. We are literally cancelling and closing our economy into not a recession but a depression! Much of this cancel culture was the deep state and their leftist supporters wanting to hurt Trump. Some will start to ask, was this worth it? Would we have self collapsed our economy had a dem been in office?

As far as I can see the Trump campaign has done a great job in turning out the vote for him in an uncontested race, setting record after record. Then there are the huge overflow crowds at his rallies. I don’t take anything for granted, not since 0bama won. I will get out there and vote for Trump no matter what.

The market is predicting recession but that will be very shorter because of Trump's tax and regulatory policies. However the interest rate cut was a mistake because it means the market will adjust to short term speculation and less money for long term payback. Low rates were part of the reason for the anemic recovery after 2008.

Trump has to keep the focus on private sector recovery and not allow the statists to try to run the economy. He won by convincing people that America should be first and he lost some support by not shutting down air travel (e.g. with Europe) sooner. He has weather on his side: warmer and more humid weather reduces spread. He is at the mercy of the millennial virus spreaders. So far a lot of them are still socializing and spreading.

Smart*** candidate Hillary was a self-made victim of the key precept on why voters choose one candidate over another:

Candidates spend time and money trying to get voters to like them enough to vote for them.

But the political truism is that voters care more about whether the candidate likes THEM.

When Hillary declared Trump voters “irredeemable deplorables” she told 63 million voters she did not like them.

In 1945, British voters said “six years of blood, toil, tears, sweat, and austerity, is bloody ENOUGH!!”

Atlee and Labour promised pie in the sky, and the masses went for it. They were so good at it that Churchill was returned to office in 1951.

Meanwhile, wartime austerity rules would not be lifted until 1954.

Nowadays, UK has its own Gestapo: British police arresting citizens caught criticizing Islam online.

Back to topic: PDJT’s reelection, as noted, has gone from sure thing to uncertain in a few weeks of foreign-borne pandemic. Every vote will have to be fought for and complacency is deadly, now.

“ The market is predicting recession but that will be very shorter because of Trump's tax and regulatory policies.”.

None of that is going to matter. Government can force businesses to shut down but they can’t force them to open. One more month of this and fully half the businesses that were forced to close will never reopen. Of the ones that do a third of them will go under in a year or less. This closure policy is going to devastate this nation for years to come.
