The President had the choice to get out in front of the media and DNC created hysteria that was meant to turn this into his “Katrina” or try to handle it in a rational way. He dabbled with a rational response, but the political risks were too great, so he got out in front of it to help steer the country in a way that will ultimately have some positive effects on the economy and how we deal with China.
The hype about the virus is mostly nonsense meant to take President Trump down, but he has beaten them at their own game. The 2017-18 flu season was far more deadly and much more of a threat to the population but the Democrats and media were too focussed on trying to undermine and get rid of President Trump to even notice.
So the shuttering of the world economy is mostly nonsense to bring Trump down? This is why Europe is in turmoil, and Korea and Japan essentially shut down their countries for a couple of months? Just to take Trump down?
That’s as good a summation of the present situation as I’ve seen.
