On the other hand, anything that can keep the worst of this bug at bay is all the better. If we can reduce this to “just a bad flu” with these drugs, we can get this country back to work.
We are already undergoing a "bad flu" with 22K deaths since October 2019. If after 2 months, the total deaths from the Red Plague is ~380, the regular flu seems way more deadly and infectious.
So, 7 months of flu = 22K deaths, and 7 months of Red Plague (extrapolating) = 2.66K.
