I’m concerned the President Trump is giving up too much power to these two doctors. They are based on models and projections. There are so many Industries and businesses who will be affected by this. The hotels and restaurants and all of the employees involved in them will be the first to be defunct. After that it’ll be the businesses who supplied them as part of their customer base. After that they’re simply won’t need to be any need for anything if people aren’t spending money on anything. I’m getting really annoyed at how much people think it’s so important that President Trump defeat the Press at the presser as if that’s the most important thing. He needs to be more aggressive and it is Sun Tzu’s Art of War time not President Trump the one who follows the orders of the doctor’s time. He is the one they report to not vice-versa.
I am a sort of retired accountant. The governor of Illinois has deemed accounting firms to be essential businesses, so retirement is not happening now. Clients have already emailed over the weekend about getting help with stimulus forms and delaying payroll tax payments which have already been scheduled for April. And people who expect refunds are asking if their returns are done. Sort of a normal tax season but with more government good intentions added to complicate life even more.
And wifey and the kids are worried about me going to work at all, let alone meetings with clients. Normal keeps getting moved back to later in the year. The only normal has been trying to figure out what autocorrect has done to my messages. I used to read like I was born in this country with English as my first language but not so much now.
That was horrible news. An entire month without revenues will be devastating for many small businesses.
