This does not seem smart to me. Why would someone leave an area with relatively little Covid and fly through some of the worst infected countries to reach the #1 Covid country?

Visa/passport expiring? Out of money? Want to keep your job/romance alive back home?

I haven’t researched the Nepalese government’s position, but in Indonesia, if you’re locked down and the visa expires, you wait. They have said the penalty fees will be waived. Out of money? Hmmmm. That seems a good reason. Job and romance? Aren’t the jobs shut down in the US? Romance? He won’t wait? Dump him then.

There are a few good reasons for traveling but really, it is probably safer in Nepal.
