This morning on Fox and Friends it was noted that the drugs are outlawed in New York in the face of several studies and trials proving the treatment is effective.

Partially Fake News: NY Executive Order No. 10 (dated o3/23/20) reads in Part as follows: "No pharmacist shall dispense hydroxychloroquine or chloroquine except when written as prescribed for an FDA-approved indication; or as part of a state approved clinical trial related to COVID-19 for a patient who has tested positive for COVID-19, with such test result documented as part of the prescription. No other experimental or prophylactic use shall be permitted, and any permitted prescription is limited to one fourteen day prescription with no refills." At the time the Benito Cuomo issued his illegal Executive Order, the FDA has not approved the drugs for treating the Chinese Wuhan Flu and therefore, prescribing the drugs would have been illegal in NY except as part of a clinical trial. However, on March 30, the FDA approved the drugs for treating the virus and as a result, the Executive Order is a nullity.

I also note that by Executive Order No. 11 (dated 03/27/20), Benito Cuomo authorized the use of the drugs in situations that qualify for compassionate care under federal law.

So yes, Benito tried to screw us with his illegal executive order, but he got trumped when the FDA approved the drugs for use in treating the Chinese Wuhan Virus.

Also note the contradiction: If a red state governor used an executive order to make abortion illegal, Cuomo would be screaming "Her body, her choice," and that "the state has no business interfering in the relationship between a woman and her physician."

Yes...been pointing this out for days. Cuomo’s EO outlaws most NYS people from getting these meds. Cuomo is a scumbag.
