Travel Patterns Of Wuhan Citizens Align With Global Virus Outbreaks......

Using a big data analysis method, a research team from the University of Southampton studied the travel patterns of nearly 5,000,000 people traveling abroad from Wuhan 'before' it was locked down.

Italy’s first two confirmed cases of infection were from a Chinese couple.

There was also a lady from Wuhan, who was infected with the virus. She disguised her fever by taking medicine and made the trip to France. She boasted online about it while taking a photo of herself at a Michelin-star restaurant.

The first confirmed case in Japan was from a Chinese man in his 30s, who had stayed in Wuhan for a few days during his trip to China before flying back to Japan. He also took pills to bring down his fever before boarding the airplane on January 6.

“Take the U.S. as an example, data has shown that between January 10 and January 20, around 6,000 people from Wuhan have entered the U.S. through the San Francisco International Airport in California and JFK Airport in New York. We can be certain there were passengers infected with the virus. These people brought the virus into the U.S. The epidemic in the U.S. was imported from Wuhan.

Today our city is celebrating the #LunarNewYear parade in Chinatown, a beautiful cultural tradition with a rich history in our city. I want to remind everyone to enjoy the parade and not change any plans due to misinformation spreading about #coronavirus.

Since I’m encouraging New Yorkers to go on with your lives + get out on the town despite Coronavirus, I thought I would offer some suggestions. Here’s the first: thru Thurs 3/5 go see “The Traitor” @FilmLinc. If “The Wire” was a true story + set in Italy, it would be this film.

If he wants them out of town then they should visit Shanghai. Great town. Better than New York.

I wonder how that compares with previous years?

And leftards wonder why we want to close the borders. I’m sick and tired of having infectious diseases brought into my country by people who have no reason to be here. Not to mention the fact that “commerce” takes precedence over our health!

Apparently in a period of two months or less. Is that a normal flow of Wuhanians around the world? That's an awful lot of Chinese jet setters.

It alarms Canadian conservatives that we have still got flights landing from China every day, not necessarily from Wuhan. The excuse being offered is that the problem is contained in China. That of course relies on the dubious proposition that one would trust their government’s word on anything.

The only question in my mind is, did the government of China engineer this from the very beginning, or did they jump into a developing localized situation and alter the outcome to some advantage perceived by spreading this around the world? And what twisted logic would make any civilized nation think that it could gain any advantage from killing off mostly elderly and already sick people in various countries? That alone would be no advantage but perhaps the rest of our response looks good to them.

Anyway, almost every big flu or other respiratory disease has started out there, maybe time to rethink the open door policy (I have been in that rather small minority of people who never wanted to see any kind of relations with China under communist rule). And if anyone wants to say racist, well it’s not the Chinese part of the equation, it’s the communist part that causes all the trouble.

That’s why I like to call it the Xi Jinping Chinese Communist Party Virus and Flu.

And to Hades to anyone who screeches “racist” about that.

The first confirmed COVID-19 infection in the USA was a “person” who flew into Seattle-Tacoma airport direct from Wuhan, China.

The test result was announced on 21 January 2020.

The Washington state Department of Health actually removed that information from its website to protect the privacy of that individual.

Age - unknown. Ethnicity - unknown. Gender - unknown. Occupation - unknown. Prior health issues - unknown. Citizen? Green Card? H-1B? Tourist? Student? Illegal? All unknown.

Lately I’ve been leaning on the side of some bad players being involved. I would also be interested to know the usual travel stats in previous years.

It’s not racist and the problem is as much Chinese cultural practices as it is communism. The insular, “me first, screw everyone else” nature of the culture and the revolting dietary and hygiene practices long pre-date communism.
