On March 25, 2020, American Thinker published a pilot article titled: Political structure of coronavirus victims: Which party is in power by state, in which, for the first time, a very unusual phenomenon was observed. In particular, this article analyzed how the Chinese coronavirus cases in the United States are split among Democrat-governed and Republican-governed states. The easily trackable party affiliation of a states governor was used as a criterion.
To everybodys surprise, for each coronavirus case in Republican-governed states, there are approximately four (!) coronavirus cases in Democrat-governed states. For example, the ratio for March 24, 2020, was 83% vs. 17%. We are talking here about the relative, not the absolute numbers of coronavirus cases. In other words, we analyze the number of cases in Republican-governed or Democrat-governed states divided by the total number of cases.
To analyze this phenomenon further, we calculated the percentage of COVID-19 cases for Democrat-governed states and Republican-governed states for the entire month of March. The historical data source used was the USA Facts. The chart below shows the results.
At the beginning of the month, 93% of all cases in the United States were in Democrat-controlled states, with the remaining 7% of cases being in Republican-controlled states. However, the last three weeks of March demonstrate that the situation has reached some sort of stabilization around 80% and 20% for Democrat-controlled and Republican-controlled states, respectively. In other words, the 4-to-1 ratio has existed for the last three weeks, and this distribution is remarkably stable. Before the second week of March, the data was incomplete/sporadic.

Homeless, illegals, crime no go areas probably has something to do with it.
The Lesson: stay away from Dims.
They can be dangerous, not only to your liberty but also to your health.
The common factor in Dem-dominated states: big cities where people are crowded together in public transportation.
Large gay populations can't be good for Dem cities either because people who will violate disease prevention rules re: HIV will certainly violate COVID-19 "social distancing" rules.
Over half of the cases and deaths are in NY and NJ, and most of those are clustered in and around NYC.
I wonder what its like if you factor those out from New York City
Sounds like the democrat gene might make them particularly vulnerable.
The article notes that the seasonal flu has a 1:1 ratio between Dem & Repub states. Then it goes on and on until it completely destroys it’s own premise with this: “It is important to note that if we remove New York and New Jersey data from consideration, the coronavirus split between Republican-governed and Democrat-governed populations for the rest of the United States would be precise as the current split for the flu, 43% vs. 57%”
So, really, NY & NJ are outliers (at the moment) and skew the graphs.
Ya gotta read these things carefully.
When you consider it all Trump is a dang SAINT. He could have done nothing and it would have wiped out the Democrat Party.
Why wouldn’t you count New York? There’s no bigger bastion of liberal policies than New York City.
I think the interest in Cuomo has tapered off a bit, but I was amazed that there was any interest at all. The media indicated he was presidential because he was handling the virus so well. But he hasn’t. NY (and NJ) is the place that is worst. You can’t claim success if your area is the worst in the country.
Sanctuary cities and corrupt, mismanaged overlords in power for decades deliberately refused to prepared their state for an event like this.
Because the Dem governors have found out Fed Gov pays a bounty for Covid-19 diagnoses and deaths. Follow the money.
further proof demoKrat policies kill..
I wonder what its like if you factor those out from New York City
However, a map comparison from a different thread shows a noticable correlation between Dim strongholds and viral outbreaks. Louisiana, for instance.
This analysis of trying to boil 350 million people down to 50 Governors and the results cited, does highlight, however, the failure of “Democracy”. The states ruled by Dim Governors are themselves typically ruled by a single population center - not coincidentally the locus of the virus. This is “Demcracy” in action, Mob rule; forcing by shear numbers, others to your choice.
Let’s call it a failure of lifestyle choice. The followers are entitled to theirs, but they shouldn’t be able to force those on others.
Guayquil Ecuador Coronavirus Update:
(Posted here because of the crowded slum CV parallel)
Video title, translated: Guayaquil, one of the areas of Ecuador most affected by coronavirus, cannot cope with the corpses
[Guayaquil, una de las zonas de Ecuador más afectadas por coronavirus, no da abasto con los cadáveres]
Univision News, April 5, 2 minute YT video.

“They are recovering 150 bodies per day, compared to the normal 30 from other causes” (before the epidemic).
(Guayaquil’s population is 3 million, more than half in crowded slums)
Guayaquil is Covid-19 “in the wild,” with little or no modern medical care available. Hospitals are overrun.
>>End stage Covid-19 is BRUTAL without palliative meds: morphine++ etc<<
You slowly suffocate and drown in your own pink frothy lung fluids. Most Ecuadorians dying of CV die at home. Hospitals have collapsed, there are virtually no ventilators or ICU beds or staff in the 1st world meaning.
Those pushing for “herd immunity” via “let it run” should watch the news reports from Guayaquil.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AIE7A8PTAzs
Just google or Youtube search “Guayaquil, Ecuador” for a Coronavirus reality check. And they are just starting, they are about where Northern Italy was a month ago. It’s getting worse and worse by the day.
G_d is culling the herd.
Soon we will have far fewer Dems?
What should be investigated is where these areas show an increase in 19 was it caused by travel to China ?
