cuomo was asked this question during his presser today. He didn't have an answer. Another dude at the table said that if someone in a nursing home has the virus, they will be quarantined in a special section in the nursing home. No outside patients will be brought in.
My question is, if someone in a nursing home gets the virus, why aren't they taken to a hospital?
Thanks for the reply. You’re right, that was a BS answer by Cuomo. CMS relaxed that reg for a reason. My bet is those elderly patients are being shipped back to nursing homes because most are likely on Medicaid and hospital care costs the state more.
Fedzilla should be all over Cuomo over this.
