Dumb question but why aren’t our sinuses and throat etc. covered in scar tissue post infection if so much healthy tissue dies off? I’ve always wondered about that.
I think sometimes it does, but as for the reason it usually doesn’t, not sure. I would guess that usually, the tissue as a whole stays intact, and no healing is necessary.
