We have no one but ourselves to blame. Record setting Disney channel subscribers. Taking kids to their over priced parks. Going to thier movies. Watching anything on ABC, Hulu, ESPN, Fox. You want to hurt them? Boycott. Nothing says we’re on the wrong course than no revenue
I had forgotten that Disney bought Fox and put that useless POS Ryan on the Board, explains a lot about what has been going on there.
I can’t say I’ve gone to one of their theme parks since I was VERY little, and I sure as heck have absolutely no plans to go there after that H1B scam they pulled on their workers and forced them to train replacements from India by threatening to take away their severance pay if they don’t. We also stopped using cable back in 2010, so I haven’t watched Disney Channel or ESPN since then. And heck, we haven’t even watched much FOX even before the Disney sale. And I stopped watching their films since 2017 with their stupidly turning LeFou gay in the BATB remake. The last “movie” of theirs that I went to see was Rogue One. Probably the closest I’ve gotten to watching ANYTHING by them was a couple of episodes of Pokémon Sun and Moon (and even THERE, I made absolute certain I watched it directly from the Pokémon website, without even resorting to any Disney appliances). And any Disney stuff I did get after boycotting I made sure I bought used options specifically to ensure I DIDN’T have to pay Disney at all.
Of course, even if we did boycott, given who’s in charge currently (namely, radical leftists who don’t give a darn about loss revenues and care only for pushing their politics as especially demonstrated by Bob Iger, and Bob Chapek may be cut from the same cloth), it’s unlikely boycotts would have worked anyhow. If they did, they would have shut down Gay Days at Disney World by now precisely BECAUSE of low attendance rates and thus low sales in 2013 and 2014. That’s what I would have done if confronted with that.
