So I believe there are ways to do this and help alleviate the fears.

1. Get the new cases count down in the community. The fewer cases the saver it is to go out.
2. An effective treatment available quickly if you do get it. Knowing it's not likely to kill you or even land you in the hospital, is a game changer.
3. Everyone wears a mask. It's not perfect, but it reduces the particles spread into the air by the infected, and reduces the particles breathed in by the uninfected. This further reduces the risk of going out. But this needs to be mandated. Too many people on FR refuse a mask.
4. Continued social distancing using the 6 foot rule as much as possible.
5. Deep cleaning commercial establishments as often as possible.
6. Contact trace, test and quarantine each new case.

   The article is right. The economy was shutting down on it's own due to fears. The lock downs just got us all on the same page.

   The economy won't recover until people feel safe. So don[t try to reopen until the cases are down. It will fail, and it will cases increasing, further extending the necessary lock downs.

Um, cases are coming down; curves are flattening! We also have effective meds to fight this. Unfortunately, as long as we have limp wristed “guys” like you, the fear will never go away!
