One can watch 1970s episodes of The Electric Company and Captain Kangaroo and be that good deal more thoughtful and educated than one who watches Morning Joe.
We fought this battle in 2016. There were some Freepers claiming President Trump was not a conservative (he is not) and if you were conservative you should not vote for him.
My answer, I resigned (figuratively) from the CONSERVATIVE organization. Burned my membership card and secret code books.
I agree, President Trump is not a pure conservative by anyone’s definition. He is more pragmatic. He wants control of our borders, he wants to reduce our dependence on China, he wants fair trade deals and he wants to bring manufacture ring back to the US.
I say he is pragmatic in that he is willing to work with others and compromise on somethings.
A pure conservative (or a pure progressive) is unable to compromise, it is all or nothing with them.
I admire Joe. I have to admit it. To wake up everyday and say something stupider than the day before is a burden. How does this man sleep at night knowing that the day before he said something that was stupider than ever and that he now has to top it?
Sooner or later the lack of sleep and anxiety will kill poor Joe. But he can go to his grave knowing that he gave that last full measure of devotion to the cause of stupid.

How asinine. What does Scarborough, a liberal, know about conservatism? For him to say that you can’t be a conservative and support Donald Trump would be like Rush Limbaugh saying that you can’t be a liberal and support Joe Biden.
