11 people on the fire department that I retired from tested positive 3 weeks ago. All have “recovered” and now test negative. Only 1 developed any symptoms at all which he thought were from seasonal allergies. He now tests negative but he still has his seasonal allergy symptoms. If these guys had not been firefighters none of them would have been tested. This thing is 50 to 80 times more prevalent than commonly presumed, and thus 50 to 80 times less lethal.
The antibody tests are supporting that.

If this is true Plaquenil will NEVER be shown to be efffective. Might as well well stop all the trials now before anyone else is harmed.
That's the way it is with most pathogens. First-line immunity almost always nips them in the bud, and if they get a toe-hold in the system usually manages to fight them off without any danger to the organism. Obviously people with weak immunity are susceptible to dangers, as are those with conditions that exacerbate the symptoms, such as obesity. The real danger is to those who have both, which is a small subset of the entire population.
The logical response to a threat like the one we've experienced is to shore up the facilities used for treating the dangerously ill, and not to stand three-hundred-plus million people on their heads.
