Those poor students are in desperate need of donations from tax payers. Maybe Pelosi could sell her hoard of expensive ice cream and donate the proceeds to them.

One would hope that Trump has the goods on them, over... something... after his unequivocal statement yesterday that Hahvahd WILL pay it back.

I think Harvard’s tax exempt status needs to be looked at. Is it really an educational institution or has it become an investment vehicle masquerading as an educational institution?

Harvard has over $35 billion in endowments. They have no need for federal money.

The Ivy League universities are actually giant hedge funds, with schools attached to them.

Or has it become an exclusive printing shop selling gilt edged diplomas to politically correct students and whose true value now rapidly approaches that of plainer diplomas from some community colleges?

Harvard has over $35 billion in endowments.

A lot of groups have endowments such as this. However, the bylaws governing the endowments have severe restrictions on how and when the principal may be used. It's possible that Harvard is not allowed to dip into the endowments, even for emergencies such as this. That does not exonerate them from "stealing" money from other groups that don't have such funds available.

What SHOULD be happening is that the anti-Progress people on Capitol Hill should be passing legislation to relax such bylaw restrictions for extraordinary national emergencies like this to allow drawing down a percentage for operating expenses. Surely, a 0.1% drawdown, or $35 million, would keep Harvard afloat for quite a while. Heck, $35 million could keep most of the city of Cambridge going for at least a month or two!

Harvard is going to have a hard time winning a PR battle here. Most Americans won’t consider a super rich Ivy League school that brags about being elite as ‘needy’ when real small businesses are going under left and right.

Maybe Harvard can dip into its $40 Billion endowment to assist students.

Remember the old football cheer: hit ‘em again, harder , harder! At Harvard the cheer is: reverse their progress, reverse their progress, considerably!

Just put in rule that anyone taking those funds can’t give money to illegals. They will return it immediately. They always prefer to give an education to an illegal over a citizen any day

Maybe Harvard should among other Universities stop educating Chinese spies acting as Students from stealing
advanced tech.

Does China who graduates far more STEM students than America have American students in its Universities?

You know every Foreign student of theirs is considered
a military member a CCP member.
