In the Guam airport is a glass case with a jersey worn by Sadaharu Oh. He played for and manged the Yomiuri Giants. As a plyer he hit 868 home runs during his professional care.
Upon seeing his jersey only one comment came to mind. “Oh.”
The Yomiuri Giants have a strong connection to Guam; they do their spring training there. I’ve heard something like 80% of all Guam tourists are from Japan, no doubt many of them Giants fans as it is the country’s most popular team.
