Brainstorming is not something you do at a press conference in front of a rabidly hostile audience.
Here is the part of the briefing where President Trump speaks of "injection." It occurs 25 minutes into the briefing.
Four minutes later in the same briefing, President Trump corrects himself after a question from Jon Karl.
Karl: The President mentioned the idea of a cleaner, like bleach or isopropyl alcohol... there's no scenario where that can be injected into a person, is there?President Trump: It wouldn't be through injection. I was referring to a cleaning, sterilization of an area. Maybe it works, maybe it doesn't work, but it certainly has a big effect if it's on a stationary object.
In order for the "inject Lysol" meme to work, the MSM has to ignore the comments made just four minutes later. Bias by omission is one the major ways that the MSM corrupts the reporting of the news.

Trump opened himself up for this. I saw the briefing and it was a dumb a$$ thing to muse about in that venue.
Forwarding this to friends.
Do you mean Sergei Eisenstein, the acclaimed Russian director of "The Battleship Potemkin?" I didn't know he dabbled in theoretical physics as well as cinema.
I made that same point in other posts and was attacked by the Trump-worshippers. The fact is that he sometimes lets his mouth run away with him and he ends up looking either petty or foolish. He needs to restrain his impulsiveness. He’s giving away a lot of ammunition to his (and our) enemies.

> Trump could have instead walked on water that day...
That would prove he’s a witch!
>>>So basically, Trump has to be 100% perfect in everything he says or does<<<
Yes, he and any Republican. The idea they don’t realize it by now is ludicrous. You don’t hand the Enemy Ammunition.
Same goes for Insider Trading, but that’s another topic for another thread.
Yes, I see what the press is trying to do. They are despicable liars who are anti-American.
But yes, Trump needs to stop it. They are getting him off topic. Also, there are many more of them, and there is only one Trump.
They are trying to wear him down, and they may be doing it.
To illustrate how pervasive their hoax has become already, this afternoon I was in a dollar store in the checkout line.
As the very garrulous, loud clerk was checking another customer out (6 feet in front of me of course), she said to basically everyone in the store, “According to our President, all we have to do is inject Lysol into our bodies and we’ll be instantly cured.”
I was too annoyed to let this pass. I rather curtly said, “He did NOT say that.”
She insisted: “Yes, he did.”
Me: “The media completely twisted what he did say.”
Another customer, a younger man stepped up and said to me, “I believe you; you are right.”
He then turned to the clerk, shaking his head, and said. “Please do not believe that.”
He was a rather attractive young man, so she backed down and claimed she didn’t really believe it.
Yes, I agree he shouldn’t have speculated out loud along these lines but I do get annoyed at how the lying media is always ready to pounce on and distort anything he says.
I’m not saying whether Pres. Trump should or should not brainstorm during a press conference. My point is, IF it had been Obama doing/saying this exact same thing, the response would have been totally different.
