The soft piano and the acoustic guitar are the instruments of choice for these ads. That was true for companies that virtue signal even before the virus.

Many of us have noticed the "woke" trend in advertising for several years, with companies careful to point out how they are "partnering" with this or that charity or leftist political clause. "Giving back to the community" is now a widely-used cliché, as if they somehow are admitting that their normal practices constitute "stealing from the community."

In the world of corporate ads, 40% of the country is black, everybody lives in an upscale neighborhood, there are Muslims and gays, people do yoga and Tai Chi, but there is not a Christian in sight. (Except Mike Lindell, doing his own ads.)

That soft, lilting piano music has been the standard for quite some time, whenever emotion needs to be wrung out of the audience.
