The old ones are only two weeks old. Does the Administration see the need to change them because none of the states that are currently opening up are following them? Isn't that a bit backwards?

Last night Trump retweeted a guy who said this:
“Do you really think these lunatics wouldn’t inflate the mortality rates by underreporting the infection rates in an attempt to steal the election?”
Which seems to indicate that Trump knows Democrats are playing games with the data.
The plan he originally agreed to was totally data-driven, which means his opponents could screw with that data and keep us closed forever. I think he’s caught on to that.
Business needs certainty to plan for reopening and that plan offered none.
Absolutely it is!! And President Trump would be very wise -- and he is -- to make this his top, non-negotiable priority. Cheers!

Fascist Fauci and Birx need to be supremely praised and possibly be presented with the highest civilian honors for their dedication and hard work and a promotion before announcing their work is now done in this particular case and they are off to conquer other demons.
Then Trump announces the reopening of the country.

I’d certainly guess Birx isn’t going anywhere. She seemed to be the one chosen over the weekend to lessen the fallout from the disinfectant issue. And she did a good job.
I likewise thought he’d spend the day celebrating Melania’s birthday. But instead he gave his Twitter account an extreme workout. Some of the tweets were not helpful frankly.
