Personally I don’t like this idea. It just screams SQUIRREL! to me. Plus God forbid they lose one of these guys in an accident. Trump will own it.
Let’s take risks for actual gain and not PR.

As for the flight plan over Long Island... they appear to be going over some of the biggest hospitals... Northshore in Manhasset... than SE to go over Good Samaritan in West Islip than ENE over Southside in Bayshore... than on to Stony Brook University Hospital on the north shore...
A nice salute to many of the front line workers who are working in a hot-spot.
Good news, many of the hospitals that were almost 100% COVID are now freeing up floors for elective surgeries... the trend is most definitely downward. Everyone wears masks and keeps apart respectfully... and that is helping slow the spread.
The hospitals also have been treating patients with HCQ+ZPak+Zinc... which appears to be making a major impact according to some ICU nurses I know...
Many of them, and the doctors, wish to prescribe the cocktail in outpatient settings... but have been blocked by the governors EO preventing such...
More good news, many Long Islander's are now waking up to such and spreading the word about the treatment... pressure is growing to allow such and open the state up economically...
Lastly, like the vast majority of COVID infected, I and my wife have recovered... we only experienced a few days of headaches and fever... so we were sparred the onslaught that others have had to deal with. I personally know of 4 persons with the virus, two of which are in the hospital.
Looking forward to the flyover... it will be appreciated by many... It's been a cold wet spring, this will bring some warmth to the area.
