The mainstream media inundate the American public on a daily basis with the coronavirus's death toll in flashy headlines in an attempt to criticize the Trump administration' response. While reporting on the increasing death toll daily, progressive and mainstream outlets make disingenuous comparisons to death tolls in past wars and catastrophes. MSNBC'S Morning Joe reported that the virus will "kill more Americans than were killed in Iraq, Afghanistan." Vox posted that "the coronavirus has now killed more people in the U.S. than the 9/11 terror attacks." The Washington Post, NPR, CNN, and many other outlets gleefully reported that the U.S. coronavirus death toll now exceeds U.S. losses in the Vietnam War.
The death toll and havoc wrought by the Chinese virus are no doubt real. However, media coverage of the virus intentionally lacks even a hint of perspective and aims to sow fear.
In 1968, roughly 16,000 U.S. servicemembers died in Vietnam. That same year, the Hong Kong influenza (H3N2) caused the deaths of roughly 100,000 Americans. While undoubtedly a tragedy, the U.S. and state governments did not issue any stay at home orders, nor did they shut down the American economy. In 2018, 67,367 drug overdose deaths occurred in the United States. The media don't sensationalize and hype the annual overdose death toll, which exceeded the U.S. death toll of the entire Vietnam War. Since 2010, roughly 12,000–61,000 Americans die of the flu on a yearly basis. During that period, media coverage claiming that more Americans died of the flu than on 9/11 was nonexistent.
The fake news media are attempting to create a visual comparison to manipulate and confuse the American public. However, in life, perspective is necessary.
It must be asked: why are the media throwing all perspective out the window and hyping the death toll?

The fake news media’s coverage is a disgrace and destroyed whatever sliver of credibility the institution still had. The media disingenuously hype the virus’s death toll and push for draconian, job-killing policies that are disproportionate to the threat while at the same time shielding the Chinese regime from any criticism.
It’s abundantly clear the media has decided the best way to get rid of President Trump is to nuke the economy.
The ends justify the means.

It really is that simple. If Hillary or Biden were President, they would pay this virus lip service and be praised to the hilt for doing so. The continuation of the Obiden-Bama economy would've been so sluggish there's no way they would've shut it down. Also, America's nursing homes would be empty by now.

As I read it... Democrats/Media/Swamp (but I repeat myself) have determined...
1. the destruction of the justice system,
2. crashing the economy,
3. shredding the Constitution,
4. wrecking the integrity of election systems,
5. erasing the value of citizenship,
6. forceful imposition of tyranny with an endless “shutdown”...
is but a small price to pay to rid themselves of #BadOrangeMan and his “Deplorables!”
The media is hyping the deaths so they can shut down the economy every year. Now they can panic the people every flu season simply by giving it a name; instead of just calling it the flu. Small business will be destroyed; people will be dependent on government handouts; and everyone watches them for their approval to go back to work.
This will eventually backfire and the people will revolt. A revolt that the media will not support.
I heard a first hand account of double counting (or more) of Chicom flu patients. When a patient is transferred between hospitals both facilities are adding the patient to their tally of Chicom flu patients. The books are definitely being cooked.
I had it with the local news yesterday after reading on the online edition the number of virus cases in Florida soared to 33000+. After digging through the state report, I noted the rate of infection of those tested had fallen to 8.8% over the past month from close to 11%. I wrote to the station manager about my concern. I got the following response:
“Thanks for reaching out. I completely agree. Different people handling our numbers stories depending on the day, but I’ll remind them that we need to be cognizant of infection rates, as that is a far superior metric for measuring how widespread the virus actually is.”
Today’s edition had it prominently noted, without further comment unfortunately but it was noted in the opening paragraph. Sometimes writing does have an effect but then again we are fortunate to have an independent TV station here. I bet had I written that to CNN, my note would have found its way to the “ignore future emails box”!
The compromised media are waging an ongoing destabilization and regime change campaign as part of the deep state.

Revolt against whom? After seeing polls that Trump is losing to no memory man, I came to the conclusion most voters are too stupid to note exactly where the problem began: IN CHINA. Trump did not one day decide to nuke his historic economy and recovery. So, they are revolting, against the wrong person I guess already. Worse, we now got people chiding individuals for “not wearing masks”? Really, wearing a useless item. All it serves is as an icon for this disaster which they pin on Trump due to the media.
On just the general notion of revolting, I do find revolting Pelousy and the rest of the dems. I wish there were some way we could wave a wand and they would all be turned to dust.

Same thing is happening in Colorado. Skilled care facility has a COVID resident. Count #1. Resident goes to hospital. Count #2. Resident goes back to facility. Count #3. Personal doctor responds to facility care. Count #4.
The wife has this issue since she run dozens of facilities. She had a handful, like 5, residents with COVID but the report came out they had over 30 due to each contact with any healthcare worker counted as a new infection.
I knew there was an agenda behind this the second they started the unprecedented shutdowns and lockdowns...
The good news about the mainstream media it’s just about out of business no fish left to hook with lie bait.
