It really depends on the location of those mutations. If those “spikes” which allow the virus to latch on to cells don’t mutate, or mutate but don’t really change much, then a vaccine which is based on those spikes will work even if there are changes to other parts of the virus.
My LAST vaccination was while in the USAF, for the Flu.....in 1972.

Sometime in the mid 60s.
Lived through TB (Both parents were nurses in Sanitariums), polio, all the 50s diseases, swine flu, sars, mad cow, global freezing, global warming, and whatever maladies they may have made up or said was happening along the way.
Had a hernia op in 1959 in Japan, after USN next visit to the Med Field was cataract ops in 2007, only visits in between were for clinics for Gout and a tetanus shot, NEVER a flu shot, never had flu, don’t get colds, NEVER missed work for ‘sick day’
YET, they want to lock me up.....for my own good.
At 80, I can see why people may think we are ALL crazy, goofy, incoherent etc when the public ‘example’ of over 70 is Biden, Bernie, Hillary, Pelosi just to name a few that make the world think anyone over 70 has to be bonkers.

after which I had a really nasty case of Flu that almost got me medicaled out of the AF before I even got started. I dodged the "required" Flu vax for the next four years and, not being terribly masochistic, have never had one since.

Since the pandemic started he now says that his Ph.D is in epidemiology! He even states that on his web page. Fascinating how he can change his field of training depending on current events.
Trust is lost when it comes to a vaccine because of those behind the curtain in the dark pulling the strings. This is no longer a conspiracy theory its coming from the very people who are determined to do it. A vaccine can be used to protect and prevent it also can be used to: to cull the herd, debilitate a certain unruly dissident uncooperative people, allow social engineering according to thier master plans for a sustainable future

My mom made me get the Swine Flu shot when I was about ten. No negative effects but I haven’t had a flu shot since.
My immunization career pretty much ended with my discharge from the Army. Every year my private sector employer would offer flu shots in the fall, which I would politely decline. When pressed about my refusal, I would say it was too risky.
One year, when pressed about the risks, I said that I try to avoid shots in general, because if I have to strip down to my t-shirt in a room full of nurses, I may end up being ravaged and mauled.
That was the last time I was ever asked :-)

I sincerly doubt that that will stop them from concocting something they’ll call a vaccination. Today, more than ever, truth or the law seem to be what some say they are...
