Paint it black: Report says Trump wants to make border wall too hot to touch

President Donald Trump still wants to paint the U.S.-Mexico border wall black to make the barrier look more menacing and hot to the touch during the summer months, the Washington Post reported Wednesday.

During a White House meeting in April about the border wall, Trump told senior aide Jared Kushner and others to move forward with plans to paint the wall black and to gather the cost estimates of such a project, according to several administration officials who spoke with the Washington Post.

Government contracting estimates obtained by the Post project that the endeavor would cost at least $500 million.

You can be sure that the wall is not literally on the line that is the border. You need to work on both sides to build something like that, so if you put it right on the line you'd need all kinds of international arrangements and permissions to stand and work and drive in Mexico. Depending on the terrain it's probably 100 yards back or more, leaving room for roads and service on both sides.

Although I’ve suggested that Trump paint the wall with a giant golden “T”, first to indicate to the illegal that he/she is trying to enter Texas and, secondly, to remind them who put the wall there to keep them out.
