Earlier Thursday, the top prosecutor on the case, Brandon Van Grack, abruptly withdrew from the case, without explanation, in a brief filing with the court.
Breadcrumbs were being dropped in the days preceding the decision that his case could be reconsidered. Documents unsealed a week ago by the Justice Department revealed agents discussed their motivations for interviewing him in the Russia probe—questioning whether they wanted to“get him to lie” so he'd be fired or prosecuted, or get him to admit wrongdoing. Flynn allies howled over the revelations, arguing that he was essentially set up in a perjury trap. In that interview, Flynn did not admit wrongdoing and instead was accused of lying about his contacts with the then-Russian ambassador – to which he pleaded guilty.
Then on Wednesday, the DOJ released a mostly unredacted version of former acting Attorney General Rod Rosenstein’s August 2017 “scope memo,” outlining the authority then-Special Counsel Robert Mueller had for his investigation. That document revealed for the first time that Mueller’s authority went significantly beyond what was previously known.
Rosenstein’s memo was known to have authorized Mueller to probe “any links and/or coordination between the Russian government and individuals associated with the campaign of President Donald Trump,” and “any matters that arose or may arise directly from the investigation,” and “any other matters within the scope of [obstruction of justice laws].”
But the new document made clear that Rosenstein authorized a deep-dive criminal probe into the Trump campaign that extended well beyond Russian interference efforts.
The memo revealed that Mueller was, among other things, looking into whether Flynn “committed a crime or crimes by engaging in conversations with Russian government officials during the period of the Trump transition.”

But you could be wrong on extrapolating a conclusion from it.
You see, there’s the possibility Wray was told to sit on it because the documents contain information before a grand jury.
I’m not drawing conclusions either way because I don’t know for sure.
But I know this, over the last year there have been people that have wanted to hang Bill Barr and now they’re ready to kissy up to him.

I think first . . . it might be a little well warranted fun to:
1. Stake some tall, big-boned ‘men in black’ types in front of his house & in back of his house 24/7.
2. Have NSA types or some such make a lot of clicking etc. sounds on ALL his phone calls.
3. Occasionally have a gov type interject on some of his phone calls, “That’s a brazen lie, Schiff-4-brans.”
4. Have purported friendly “whistle blowers” call him with friendly advice about being sure he has burned all his copies of the video of the underage black sex victim he murdered at the Standard Hotel—& then raped the corpse of.
5. Have El Chapo call him & tell him that El Chapo has documented all the corrupt payoff’s El Chapo paid him to treasonously keep the border open for child sex trafficking, MS13 invasion & Jihadi invasions. And that he is submitting all the documentation to AG Barr within 48 hours.
6. Have a purported black ops bloke or 3 call him late at night and offer to Fosterize some of the main witnesses against his child sex abuse—for several $million each.
7. Affix a module to his car that not only tracks it but erratically beeps every 3-12 minutes.
8. About 02:00-03:30 beam the “voice of God” tech into his head as though he is overhearing evildoers planning to Fosterize him so he doesn’t tell more about them.
9. “Mistakenly” mail DOJ planning memo’s to him on confiscating his wealth on a near horizon date for crimes against children & humanity & treason against the U.S.A.
10. Stage convincing pics of his name, plaques, etc. on all his offices and other Congressional related stuff being erased, removed, expunged.
11. Have a pic sent to him of a couple of plaques outlining his horrific treason & other crimes in bronze placed in a prominent place near Congress & calling him one of the most despicable, debauched, lying, treasonous, corrupt, disgusting piece of human garbage to ever haunt the halls & streets of D.C.
12. Have a video sent to him of a long string of Congressmen streaming by his grave late at night & pissing on it.
I realize we don’t ‘get into’ cruel & unusual punishment. And, in some respects the above are not near as cruel as he has been to his victims and the citizens of the USA. But the above is kind of a perverse thought experiment/sick joke at Schiff-4-brain’s expense.
Will the Feds ‘make Flynn whole again’?? They should take the money out of the retirement funds of every criminal who set him up.....right up to Brennan and Comey!

Out of 4,141 drops, I’d estimate that less than 4-12 were deliberate disinformation (which we were warned about).
Even if it were 12 such disinformation posts, that would be 0.002897% inaccurate.

Rather, Flynn would be better served by establishing civil liability for his claims using DoJ’s own documents as well as those of the Bureau. Rare to win damages from the federal government, but possible. Remember though, all of this is on hold pending any criminal action by Durham and if Trump loses in November, everyone involved will skate and sell books about how Barr corrupted the Department.
