A Michigan barber, who reopened his shop last week in defiance of Gov. Gretchen Whitmer’s coronavirus lockdown order, said on “Fox & Friends Weekend” on Sunday that the governor “obviously got a little bit mad” when she kept extending the state’s stay-at-home order.
Karl Manke, 77, said that when Whitmer signed an executive order last week to extend the state’s stay-at-home order through the end of May for nonessential workers, it “just absolutely brought me to my knees.”
He said he “just couldn't” stay closed since he is a small business owner.

Perhaps the reason Gov Whitmer is punishing the Michigan residents with her draconian orders is to deflect attention from her gross mismanagement of covid.
If you get infected with covid in Michigan you have a 10% chance of dying from it.

Thank you for posting this. Reading about Mr. Manke would make any one proud, regardless of generation. Among his entrepreneurial enterprises, and being a barber, he is an award winning author of nine novels. As a client once said about me, “I like the cut of his jib.” Although I live over a thousand miles away, I am sending a check to him for a future haircut in case I am in his neighborhood. I will also be ordering all nine of his works.
Again, thank you for posting. Mr. Manke is an American hero.
