We pretty much know how it’s going to go after the US and other armies pull out. But it’s a bit like a bitterly fighting married couple I tried to counsel some years ago: after a while I realized they like it that way.
As long as the poppy fields are well guarded ...
In other words its Afghanistan being Afghanistan.
