The Georgia man charged with murdering unarmed black jogger Ahmaud Arbery called cops less than two weeks before the fatal shooting to report a man breaking into a nearby home under construction, according to a report.
Travis McMichael, 34, called 911 on Feb. 11 to report a break-in at a construction site just two houses away from his home in Brunswick, according to audio obtained by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
“We’ve had a string of burglaries,” McMichael told a dispatcher. “I was leaving the neighborhood and I just caught a guy running into a house being built – two houses down from me. When I turned around, he took off running into the house.”

There are suspects who grab officers’ guns from their holsters and shoot them with their own weapon
There are even gun critics who say that you are at risk of your own gun being used against you
The Gentle Giant tried to get that officers gun, didn’t work out well for him.
St. Skittles tried to get Zimmerman’s gun, didn’t work out well for him, either.
There are plenty of Leftists who said that Zimmerman should’ve just taken his beatdown (started by St. Skittles) as his head was being bashed on the pavement
They certainly have the right to bear arms.
I question the term “unarmed” when the deceased are wrestling for a weapon. It isn’t as if they don’t intend to use it if they get it.
Oh yes, I know, he was supposed to just let St. Skittles bash his head into the concrete or shoot him with his own gun according to them.
No, just one burglary (from a car) in the neighborhood in 2020 according to records obtained by local media.
I’m still not convinced one way or the other.

I’m not either, really. They may well be convicted of something.
My observation is just that, an observation, it’s never a good idea to attack an armed man.
it was a dirty shooting - neither theirs nor anyone else’s lives were in danger. they brandished weapons and threatened him. they chased him and tried to corner him. he had every reason to fear for his life, they had none. they weren’t acting as policemen, but as lynchers. they give their part of the country a bad name.
The local paper made a public records request and then reported what they found.
If it were’nt true, folks would be jumping up and saying so.
You don’t have to steal something to commit burglary.
Apples and Oranges
Apples:
Skittles attacked and beat Z after which time Z produced a gun and killed him,self defence.
Z didnt start the confrontation, he was attacked.
Oranges:
Private citizen confronts a jogger while pointing a loaded shotgun at him.
Private C had no legal right or permission to do that.He was a retired cop. Not a cop on duty.
The runner, had every right to defend himself from this un-lawfull man.
Private citizen was also accompanied by his son in a pickup truck.Son also was armed.
You cant start a confrontation and aim a loaded firearm at some one that is unarmed and then claim you were defending yourself after shooting them when it was your 12 Ga and you started the whole thing.
Especially when you have an accomplice standing by that is also carrying a loaded hand gun.
Well yes you can do all of this, but you and your one man posse will be going to prison.
