But, if a past president is called before congressional hearings, what do you think will happen to DjT and every other seceding president.
As egregious as Obie’s administration was, he didn’t kill anyone (that we know of) and didn’t commit the definition of treason as defined in the US constitution.
He did come damn close to the accepted definition of treason as accepted worldwide (betraying one’s country or overthrowing a government)
Nonetheless, consider the consequences going forward. Any and every policy position will be deemed “betraying the country” by political opponents.
President Trump is virtually all alone in the District of Corruption in not being involved in the dereliction of duty that led to all of this, ALL of our elected AND appointed failed to uphold the Constitution and swore in a foreigner as President and let an enemy agent corrupt our entire government.

The sad thing there is never any blowback on the Rats for doing it. So they next time they do it its more egregious. They’ll dig up Reagan & Nixon and grill their corpses like it was done to some Pope in the Dark Ages. I fear for what happens when Trump leaves office. He will have to leave the country if a Rat is elected. We are headed to a Turd World level of political discourse where’s its not safe to surrender office without it being criminalized.
