You know, I actually believe it’s pretty likely that he doesn’t remember her. Biden is in the throes of severe senile dementia. Folks with that condition may have specific recall of something that happened 60 years ago (like sparring with CornPop at the pool) but zero recollection of something that happened 25 years ago or 25 days ago or even 25 minutes ago. Aides like Tara, even the ones he hit on over the decades, are a dime a dozen.

It’s certainly true that dementia patients can recall, sometimes with amazing clarity something that happened 40 or 50 years ago and they’ll forget your name five seconds after you tell them. Or they may suddenly think it’s 50 years ago and they have to go to work or they think it’s 1965 and everything is as they remember that era to be. Joe might actually think it’s 1973 and he’s done nothing wrong. Doesn’t matter to me though. The guy is an out and out dirt bag.
