Democrats hold congressional hearing based on whispers and a rumors. Republicans won't act when they're handed evidence of a crime.

I won’t hold my breath. Congress is run by the Rat/RINO uniparty of treason which was formed in the 28 years after the last real Republican President left office in 1989.

Senator Burr will be right on it as soon as he finishes talking to his broker. Whoops, I forgot, his committee recently issued a report whitewashing the intelligence agencies. Funny how he did the bidding of the deep state, and his Democrat friend Mark Warner, and still got outed. Could it have been a warning to his GOP peers in the Senate.
I’ve always wondered about the timing of the outing of the former GOP Speaker of the House as a pedophile, years after he retired from Congress. Hastert was indicted on May 28, 2015 for structuring bank withdrawals to pay an extortionist who was threatening to out him. He entered a guilty plea in October 2015 and was sent to federal prison. Is it a coincidence that, in October 2015 GOP Speaker of the House John Boehner stepped down and was replaced by Paul Ryan, who had been the GOP Vice Presidential candidate in the 2012 general election. Ryan did nothing to block the Democrat agenda while Obama was president and then worked behind the scenes to block President Trump’s agenda from January 2017 to January 2019. Thanks to his “do nothing” legacy, the GOP lost its House majority in the 2018 election and Ryan promptly “retired” to become a well paid lobbyists and corporate board member.
Was the timing of Hastert’s outing and conviction in 2015 planned to accelerate John Boehner’s retirement and ensure Ryan’s ascendancy to the speakership? Was it also a warning to Ryan of the consequences of failing to toe the line? His behavior during his short term as Speaker was antithetical to the conservative beliefs he claimed to have each time he ran for office.
