EXCLUSIVE: The Treasury Department Spied on Flynn, Manafort, and the Trump Family, Says Whistleblower
The Ohio Star ^ | 18 May 2020 | Neil W. McCabe

Posted on 05/18/2020 2:55:46 AM PDT by Erik Latranyi

President Barack Obama’s Treasury Department regularly surveilled retired Army Lt. Gen. Michael T. Flynn’s financial records and transactions beginning in December 2015 and well into 2017, before, during and after when he served at the White House as President Donald Trump’s National Security Director, a former senior Treasury Department official, and veteran of the intelligence community, told the Star Newspapers.

“I started seeing things that were not correct, so I did my own little investigation, because I wanted to make sure what I was seeing was correct” she said. “You never want to draw attention to something if there is not anything there.”

The whistleblower said she only saw metadata, that is names and dates when the general’s financial records were accessed. “I never saw what they saw.”

By March 2016, the whistleblower said she and a colleague, who was detailed to Treasury from the intelligence community, became convinced that the surveillance of Flynn was not tied to legitimate criminal or national security concerns, but was straight-up political surveillance among other illegal activity occurring at Treasury.

“When I showed it to her, what she said, ‘Oh, sh%t!’ and I knew right then and there that I was right – this was some shady stuff,” the whistleblower said.

“It wasn’t just him,” the whistleblower said. “They were targeting other U.S. citizens, as well.”

Only two names are listed in the whistleblower’s official paperwork, so the others must remain sealed, she said. The second name is Paul J. Manafort Jr., the one-time chairman of Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign.

The other names include: Members of Congress, the most senior staffers on the 2016 Trump campaign and members of Trump’s family, she said.

And yet, Manafort was the one spending 23 hours a day in solitary without so much as the back of a cereal box to read for a white collar crime committed by half of K Street.

This one filed a formal complaint, after one failed attempt.

And, the whistleblower is a woman and you know how adamant the dems are that we *believe all women*.

“Trump needed to fire EVERYONE...”

Look, another one with the fire everyone and replace them with...

No one. There are no people to fill all these positions. Many are Deep State Republicans like Paul Ryan.

President Trump tried to work with the Paul Ryans of the Swamp. How’d that work out?

WTH didn’t this whistleblower come forward SOONER??
They did.

From 2014 through 2016, I vetted what I believed to be evidence of crime and cover-up in the aviation community that likely reached "straight to the top" of the Obama Administration, I presented to and consulted with four senior members of the NTSB and FAA, two retired, two active. Those four told me I definitely was seeing and thinking straight regarding the evidence.

With four senior "thumbs up" in hand, I went to my congressman, who's a Vice-chair on the House Aviation Committee that oversees the NTSB, with that evidence. As a condition to go further, I was told I must make my case to the DOTOIG.

I sent the DOTOIG a packed about the evidence I had. They responded in email saying they didn't have the resources to consider what my case.

Next, I went to the Office of Special Counsel. I was turned away because, although I'm on the front line as an FAA flight instructor, I was not a full-time government employee.

I visited a friend from the judicial branch, who suggested I write a book. I did that (The Fuddy Hoax, with FR's Butterdezillion), got it published, and started selling it.

Here and there I posted a small subset of the evidence here on FR. Other than trolls, who early on ganged up on Butter (particularly), I got very little feedback of any kind from Freepers. Admittedly, some of the deeper evidence is technical and might require some aviation familiarity to appreciate.

I've been on a dozen or so Internet radio shows. Perhaps because of some of the technical aspects of the story, or simply my approach, I've gotten little feedback there, as well.

My best and most productive contact has been with a three-decades-long member of the intel community. With his help, we've gotten the attention of the strongest media wing of PDJT's public research and information effort to the citizenry, which has led to further contacts inside government. Our book has been examined on the Resolute Desk. Yay!

But here we are, after literally years of efforts. More money could have been spent, but we didn't have such money and we determined not to go out begging via GoFundMe. Just not many people are inclined to listen. Few in government are going to risk the cushy, well-paying jobs they have.

I'm pretty sure no one here has heard of my whistleblower-type activities within government. That's the case despite our evidence being very clear.

If I extrapolate from my experience, I could easily infer that there have been several whistleblowers with solid evidence, whose stories simply never reached a media within our hearing.

You make a reasonable point. When were you Navy and what was your rating? I'm '75-'86 and was an airdale (ABF) most of the time. Ah, the good old days with around the clock flight deck ops and stale baloney sandwiches for mid-rats with a metal jug full of tepid water, not to mention the small compartment on the island cramped with smelly men in-between dealing with the aircraft. I've never been prouder in all my life.

At least I wasn't dodging bullets, and that's why I admire Grunts so much. But then, General Quarters got so old with the Soviet surface and subs just itching to send us to the bottom.

We can understand better now the pressure on the judge not to dismiss the case against Flynn. The number of people who are PERSONALLY liable for monetary damages for violating his rights must be huge.

Bingo. Pardoning Flynn then may relieve some of this burden and from my take he wouldn’t have had the case legally dropped...

The perpetrators can claim “ he lied” and should have been sentenced...

The kabuki theater is being revealed slowly but surely.

Durham has a very well established reputation for being meticulous and thorough. My preference is that he take his sweet ass time and get it 💯% right. The defendants won’t be fleeing the country any time soon. Too many people are watching them. Defense counsel will be jumping on every opportunity for mistrials. They will be very vocal about anything the slightest bit prejudicial. Durham needs to keep his head down and his mouth shut. If you want a showboater, you’re out of luck. AG Barr was exactly right when he said they would get only one shot at this. President Trump has been signaling the status of the criminal cases left and right. He could not be angrier or more clear. It’s too late to worry about comments from the President being prejudicial. They probably are arguably so, but what’s done is done. We don’t know whether there have been indictments issued or not. Durham is going to do this on his timetable, not yours. He may have a bit more insight into the facts.

If Trump Administration keeps digging, I’m convinced we will all find out that the Obama Administration right from the beginning was using the surveillance capabilities of the FBI, CIA and other sources to dig up information on anyone they deemed a threat politically.

Patriot or Traitor Snowden revealed all of this.

Watch the movie Snowden and see the web he presents that bottom line shows how the government can mine data and find something on someone or relatives /acquaitances to blackmail them with or threaten to take down family members with whether the accusation has merit or not.

This is the crux of the Flynn matter.

The “Members of Congress” being spied upon by Obama could be a goldmine of info.

Betcha good money, Obama was spying on DEMOCRATS.

Was Obama checking to see if Democrats were holding out on his share of the graft?

Let's not forget, as soon as he landed in DC, Obama placed his COS Rham Emanuel in charge of the US Treasury.....
and the Census. That musta left a huge paper trail. Donald better get ahold of that info ASAP.

Controlling the Census: The Obama Administration’s Power Grab
Martha Zoller | humanevents.com / Thursday Feb 12, 2009 3:01 AM

"The American people deserve a non-partisan census in 2010, and we hope the committee will ensure that goal comes to fruition by holding an oversight hearing on the administration’s potential plans to reduce the future secretary of commerce’s authority over the agency," Rep. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) in a letter to the House Energy and Commerce Committee

The preservation and expansion of the Democrat majority is the only reason the Obama Administration is exercising its power and taking over the Census. Last week, without much fanfare, The White House moved control of the Census from the Commerce Department to the Executive Branch. The Democrats want to use “sampling” to add to the counts in urban areas homeless people and minorities that they believe will be under counted. The Supreme Court shot down the idea of “sampling” in the last Census, but the Obama Administration is going to tee it up again and see if it flies.

In the last Census, congressional seats moved from states that were losing population in the North and Northeast, to states that were gaining population in the South, Southwest and Mountain regions of America. That is a loss of power from generally Democrat strongholds to more likely Republican areas. That population trend is expected to continue which means more seats out of Blue States into Red States.

That’s why before the ink was even dry on the announcement of Sen. Judd Gregg (R-NH) as Commerce Secretary, the Congressional Black Caucus and Latino groups were complaining that a Republican could not be in control of the census. Instead of supporting Gregg and letting the confirmation process vet this issue, the White House immediately caved and gave the power of oversight of the Census to the White House and indicated that Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel would be in charge.

Not only is this the wrong political move to make, it may also be unconstitutional. It is the duty of the Congress to take the Census every 10 years and through a law passed in Congress, it gives the power to execute the Census to the Commerce Department. If Congress has established — by law — that Commerce has the responsibility, the White House can’t override that law. If it does so, the action is illegal and unconstitutional to boot.

It would be helpful to know what Senator Gregg has to say about this but so far he hasn’t commented. Maybe he received a dead fish in the mail from Mr. Emanuel. Many suspect that he didn’t see this coming but it is seen by most as a slap in the face to the integrity of Senator Gregg and the Commerce Department. Controversy over this isn’t new and that’s why a letter was sent last year to the President signed by every Census Director since Nixon supporting a bill to make the Census Bureau an independent agency.

The directors believe they could be more effective if they could deal directly with Congress and there’s a Constitutional argument to back that up. New York Democrat, Carolyn Maloney is the bill’s chief sponsor — so this is a bipartisan issue. Many people, who won’t go on the record, are afraid of a Census process that is overseen by one of the most hyperpartisan people of our generation, Rahm Emanuel.

The Obama administration is quickly adopting the Chicago way of governing by fear. First the fear of economic collapse, which with the announcements and proclamations on a daily basis of doom and gloom seem to be riling the markets. Now they want to instill the fear that Republicans want to ignore minorities and the homeless in the Census count. To strip the Commerce Department of this responsibility just because a Republican is appointed to the position is a pretty sad state of affairs. But it’s only the beginning. This is not a “post-partisan” White House.

I’m a bit old school on the Census. I believe it should be a count and that’s it. The data derived from asking whether you have indoor plumbing or how many bedrooms you have is interesting, but not a part of the Census (and frankly none of the government’s business). The Census affects every aspect of how government asserts its power over us: the way our votes count — toward one congressman or another — results from the census. It provides the raw data by which government spending is allocated on everything from roads to schools. The Bureau of Labor Statistics also uses the Census to prepare the economic data that businesses rely on.

"The real issue is who directs the Census, the pros or the pols," says Bruce Chapman, who was director of the Census in the Reagan/Bush Era. "You would think an administration that’s thumping its chest about respecting science would show a little respect for scientists in the statistical field." It a tad ironic that the Obama administration is standing firm on the “fact” of global warming but wants a hyperpartisan such as White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel to oversee the Census. John Fund, in the Wall Street Journal, said, “The Obama administration is downplaying how closely the White House will oversee the Census Bureau. But Press Secretary Robert Gibbs insists there is "historical precedent" for the Census director to be "working closely with the White House." Fund is one of the foremost experts on election fraud and ultimately, manipulating the Census is a tool to be used to steal elections.

And the Obamatons took control of the US Treasury....... Soon as they occupied the WH, Obama placed his COS---
Goldman Sachs Wall Streeter Rahm Emanuel---in control of the US Dept of the Treasury.....
ponder that...... Chicago Rham was Obama's COS AND controlled Treasury ....at the same time.

"Mr President, you are now in complete control of the US Treasury."

==========================================

THE SMOKING GUN---WSJ REPORT--On Jan 20, 2009 Timothy Geithner was appointed Obama's Secy of the Treasury. But within three weeks, the Obama White House tightened its grip on Treasury. Obama put his COS, Rahm Emanuel, in charge of Treasury---Rahm Emanuel's dual role was an unusual move. When he got to Treasury, WH COS Rahm Emanuel was so involved in the inner workings that the phrase "Rahm wants it" had become an unofficial mantra among subservient govt staffers, prostrate in obeisance, scurrying to accede to Rahm's wishes, according to Treasury government officials. Reported by WSJ / 05/31/09
