On Trump-Hatred

It’s not rocket science to say the beginning of Trump hatred came from the Clinton campaign. He was once feted in New York, even by liberals. How did it change from high regard to hated? One thing is clear, dislike was instant once Trump entered the race as a Republican, increased as he ran, and took a quantum leap forward when he won the election. To this day the hatred has grown on a level hardly thought possible.

It has now become common for leftists to accost those who differ by going into hysterics. Hysterics often exhibiting shrieking about how Trump lies, and how he’s the most awful person in the world. This has become somewhat normative for the left. I have personally witnessed many left-leaning individuals who act otherwise sane, erupt in reckless anger, going on diatribes of how Trump lies. All the time. This malicious soul eating anger, its zeal, its unbridled passion is something exhibited by most leftist elites, yet excused.

It’s beyond over the top, it’s beyond unsetting, but there it is for all to see. Well, quite clearly a lot of people on the left don’t see, or even have a clue what it is doing to them. Not to mention our entire country.

I am not speaking of debate forcefully expressed, or of passionate opposition. I am speaking of hostile, irrational, blood boiling, bug eyed, beyond the pale, unstable, demented, wild, aberrant insanity. That’s what we have witnessed since Donald Trump entered politics. This hatred increasing with every successful Trump accomplishment and every failed attempt to remove him from office.

This is what we are dealing with. I call it the Gadareen principle, after the story of the crazed man that Jesus healed. Like the Gadareen, leftists have become possessed. Possessed by hatred.

It’s a typical demon reaction to something good.

It began when it became clear that Trump was a real threat to take the Presidency. The Deep State could not abide having an outsider in the Oval Office. Thus began the campaign to make Trump look like a racist misogynist...driven by the Clintons.

it would be interesting to wonder if Trump had run as a moderate Democrat and done the exact same things how different things would have been in the social and media worlds.

President Trump threatened to run as “unaffiliated”, IIRC.

This is a perfect description of what has happened to my best girlfriend (from the seventh grade) with whom I have had the most beautiful relationship for over 55 YEARS. We taught each other to play guitar, went to each other’s weddings, wept in each other’s arms over betrayals and family deaths, stood by each other in difficult times, and always accepted each other’s differences, whether political, religious, or social.

She is a brilliant lady, talented, self-reliant, and practical. She can shoot, do landscaping, carpentry, and art. She is a wonderful singer and musician. She owns a 300-year-old farmhouse and maintains it herself. I LOVE this lady.

BUT. She is afflicted with this Trump-Hatred that I can’t fathom. Even if we don’t talk politics, she can’t resist a dig here and there, delivered in such a knowing, sneering, supercilious tone, that my only recourse is to change the subject. I have tried calm and reasoned debate but it only escalates into something vicious. It is as if she is speaking with a different “voice” than the one I have known for over a half-century.

The Quarantine is driving her crazy, but she can’t BEAR to agree with President Trump that we should re-open the country. She has become the Queen of the “What-Ifs”, (What if there is a second wave? what if they can’t find a vaccine? what if it mutates? yada yada yada.) and I find myself avoiding her now. It is extremely painful.

I guess the only thing I can do is pray. This is looking more and more like demonic activity, so the Gaderene analogy is an apt one..

Lefturd loons are emotionalists, who reject reason and have lost contact with reality. Their excessive and out of control emotions of Trump derangement syndrome and snowflake hysteria occur when they feel threatened, because they don’t have any other way to respond.

Good catch. I agree with absolutely everything. I had a deranged liberal with veins poping try to tell me Trump was not a good business man. All I could carefully say was he has billions. The response was No he does not have billions he has a billion. Lol. Ok...

There are two ways to be fooled. One is to believe what isn't true: the other is to refuse to believe what is true.

I know quite a few others like that who act like normal people. The mention of Trump makes them cray-cray.

It's a kind of possession.

the media/dem complex has been run for years by hysterical and panicky women and their feminized hysterical and panicky “male” counterparts. It is no surprise that for the last several years that we have been subjected to such a display of panic and hysteria.

It’s his style. It gets old. No matter how good the substance is, the brash salesmanship, the superlatives “It’s gonna be GREAT, the Best Ever’ and such, and the bling get really tiresome after a while.

I like most of what he’s doing, the first president since Ike to actually understand who our enemies are and what to do about it, but I don’t want to hear hype. I wouldn’t go to a rally of any kind if you paid me, I just want the data; the things that matter: the market, the unemployment rate, the GNP, the national debt; anything that can’t be put in numbers doesn’t matter to me, if it can’t be measured and quantified, it doesn’t exist; I want NO ONE’S opinion of what is good, great, terrible... I’m OK with President Trump because he’s doing the right things, but can’t STAND the presentation. I can imagine if someone didn’t care for his policy positions that it being equally grated by the style it could turn into hatred. I can tolerate anything as long as the market does well, my rights aren’t infringed upon ant we keep the pressure on the Chicoms

During the Republican primaries, Morning Joe allowed Trump to call in, virtually every day. They were complimentary to him... buttered him up. It was EVERY day.

I’ll never forget, the day after Trump officially won enough delegates to win, he was GONE. They immediately went into full blown hatred mode and they haven’t stopped since.

It was night and day difference...

They were angry when Hillary lost and could not accept her defeat (neither could Hillary)....therefore their anger turned toward Trump.... Anger ‘unresolved’ will always lead to hatred. ...and none other than Hillary herself led the charge to “Resist” Trump which fed and feeds now their hatred.

Hillary, Pelosi, Shulmur, Obama, Journalists and reporters continue to this day feeding hatred and division into this country...
