here we probably have a legal immigrant from Nam and she/he must be thinking....”why did I come to this country?”

They forbid you to work. They forbid you to grow food to eat. Tell me again why we need government?

I doubt that he is an immigrant.

*** Why the need to virtue signal? ***

He is a naturalist. He loves growing things.

Looked at his current house on Zillow. The garden would hardly be visible from the street.

Here is an article about him before he moved to Falcon Heights.

** I doubt that he is an immigrant. **

Nguyen, 24, was born in a rural village near Cam Ranh, Vietnam, before immigrating to Minnesota as child. Starting out in an agrarian community may have had some influence on his green thumb, he says, but he never gardened until buying his home four years ago. Since then, he’s just enjoyed coming up with “ideas after ideas” in making his home “fun.”

If we are going to have foreigners among us I’d rather they be viet than south of the border types.

Having installed a rain barrel this spring, now that our metal roof is finally done, it amazes me how much rainwater is wasted off of every roof on every building across America! Any town/city that has drought problems is a bunch of dummies if they don’t allow it!

1/4” of rain FILLED my 50 gallon barrel to over-flowing!

I don’t know how people stand living in places where Mother Government is breathing down your NECK 24/7. I know not everyone has a choice. :(

Gardens need to be where soil and sun coverage are best. Can be a big difference between front and back in both, like my house. Not “signaling” anything .

I suspect you have not set up a GoFundMe page. That makes it signaling in my book.

Rain water is considered property of the water rights holders in many western states.

Holding it back from the surface waters was a great way to get shot out west.

Then there is the query,

If You Own Land, How Far Above and Below Do You Own?

To answer your question would take time. In short, about 50 feet up. Down depends on the state, but not far. Water rights ... owning the land has nothing to do with owning the water. In non dry states, that is a hard concept to grasp. For instance my relations own land in Colorado, but LA owns the water rights
