Great description of the Klueless Karen Klass.
They do not understand how economically interconnected we are.
We are in transportation. Bulk Ag.
Slow down, less fuel use.
Less fuel use, less ethanol use.
Less ethanol use, less corn use. less corn hauled.
Less ethanol use, less DDGs to haul.
Less ethanol use, less CO2 for meat processing.
Less meat processing, less meat for consumers.
(not here to debate ethanol value, just an example how this affects us)
Went to haul for at Aldi’s warehouse. Social distancing, less employees. Less employees, Slower loading. Slower loading, fewer loads per day.....etc, etc, etc.
“Slow down, less fuel use.
Less fuel use, less ethanol use....”
This is why I have no expectation that things are coming back anytime soon. The economy is like a huge train, and it just hit a mountain. The engine is demolished. The coal car is now shattering. But the rest of the train is still coming down the track. And the wreckage will be piling up for a long time.
